Lars Steinmetz

Lars Steinmetz is a Professor of Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine and the Co-Director of the Stanford Genome Technology Center. Lars also serves as the Director of Life Science Alliance and holds various positions at EMBL. Additionally, Lars is the Co-founder and President of the Scientific Advisory Board at Sophia Genetics SA. With a Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, Lars has a strong academic background in the field.
