Manuela Morgan

Manuela Morgan, MBA, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Acting Head of HR at EMBL since November 2024. Previously, Manuela held positions such as Head of Career Development and Deputy Head of HR at the European Bioinformatics Institute (November 2023 - November 2024) and Global Head of People at biomodal (December 2019 - November 2023). Earlier career highlights include Senior Human Resources Business Partner at AbbVie, HR Director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Lincoln Electric, and various HR management roles at Travelex, Wincanton, Aditya Birla Minacs Worldwide GmbH, and ALLTEC GmbH. Manuela holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Applied Science Ludwigshafen and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Applied Science Wismar.
