Murilo Levy Casotti

Murilo Levy Casotti, Ph.D., has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer and Chief Engineer Office at Embraer since January 2003. Notable roles include Maturity Integrator for the E190-E2 program, focusing on system reliability, and Design and Build Team Leader for aircraft doors, where leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams was key. Previously, Murilo excelled as a Materials and Process Engineer, managing product development and manufacturing process qualifications. Academic contributions include teaching Mechanical Production Engineering and Physics at various institutions. Murilo holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and several other advanced degrees in aeronautical and mechanical engineering.
