Catia Urbanetz has been a researcher at Embrapa Pantanal since November 2010 and has served as the head of research and development at Embrapa since December 2016, focusing on scientific research with native tree species of the Pantanal. Catia holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UFSCar, a Master's degree in Plant Biology, and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology, both from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Additionally, Catia completed an MBA at USP/Esalq from October 2019 to July 2021.
