Christopher Polke

Christopher Polke, CGAP, serves as the Director of Internal Audit at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since December 2022, following a role as Chief Audit & Compliance Officer at Osceola County Clerk Of Courts from January 2021 to January 2022. Prior to these positions, Christopher held multiple leadership roles at The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. from April 2011 to July 2020, including Director of Public Sector Audit Guidance and Director of Standards and Guidance. Christopher's career began at the City of Orlando, where roles ranged from Senior Auditor to Accounting Specialist from October 2003 to April 2011. Christopher earned a Master of Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
