Sara Phinney has extensive work experience in human resources, specifically in leadership roles. Sara began their career as the Director of Human Resources/Labour Relations at Loblaw Companies in 1997, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they joined Nova Scotia Power as the Vice President of Human Resources, a position they held until 2020. Since then, they have been serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Emera.
Sara Phinney completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on HR & Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Sara attended the university from 1991 to 1996.
