Liz Hanpeter

Liz Hanpeter is a seasoned professional in government and public affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Global Government & Public Affairs at Emergent BioSolutions since March 2021. Prior roles include Senior Director of Public Affairs at the same company, Director of Therapeutic Policy and Advocacy at Takeda, and Director of Therapeutic Area Strategies in Oncology at AbbVie. Liz began their career in the healthcare industry with positions including Senior Manager of Global Marketing for HIV at both AbbVie and Abbott Labs, as well as roles at The Whitaker Group and the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones. Liz holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and German from the University of Notre Dame.
