Lovelyn Charles

Lovelyn Charles, MSc., BPharm., currently serves as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Emergent BioSolutions, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Lovelyn held the title of Project Manager at ICON plc from March 2022 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams in delivering clinical trials while adhering to regulatory requirements. Experience also includes serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at The University of British Columbia, overseeing vaccine trials, and as a TRIUMF IsoSiM Research Scholar. Additionally, Lovelyn worked as a Clinical Research Pharmacist at HJF Medical Research International, contributing to the development of product labels and managing several Phase 2 trials. Education includes a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of British Columbia, a Master's degree in Physical Pharmaceutics and Drug Design/Delivery from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the same institution.
