Zaagman Steve is a seasoned professional in community engagement and multimedia communications with a diverse background in event management, marketing, and education. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Director at Grand Rapids Events Inc, Steve focuses on fostering connections through various events. In addition to this role, Steve is the Multimedia Communications Manager at Emergent Holdings and the Founder, Dance Instructor, and Marketer for the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society, where notable achievements include organizing the Guinness World Record's Largest Swing Dance and receiving the WOOD TV's Connecting with Community Award in 2009. Steve's prior experience includes roles at WZZM 13 as a Greenthumb TV Presenter, Creative News Director, and Senior Promotions & Marketing Producer, along with serving as a Corporate Communications Specialist at Spectrum Health and teaching video production at Cornerstone University and ITT Technical Institute. Steve holds a B.A. in Communications from Calvin University and an M.F.A. in Digital Video Communications from National University.
