Anjana Mistry has a strong and extensive work experience in finance and operations. Anjana currently serves as the Chief Finance & Operations Officer at Emergn since January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Emergn from August 2019 to December 2020.
Before joining Emergn, Anjana worked at IBM for a significant period of time. Anjana held various leadership roles in finance, including CFO & Commercial Leader for IBM in the United Kingdom & Ireland from April 2017 to July 2019. Anjana also served as the CFO for IBM GTS in the United Kingdom & Ireland from September 2015 to March 2017. Additionally, they had experience as the Finance Director (CFO) for India Global Missions from August 2012 to August 2015.
Prior to their time at IBM, Anjana worked at HSBC as a Management Accountant from January 1994 to April 1997.
Throughout their career, Anjana has demonstrated expertise in finance, commercial transactions, and building trust through data and analytics. Anjana has experience working in diverse countries and cultures, including the US, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America, and Asia. Anjana is also a Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 20 years of post-qualification experience in delivering business results in a constantly changing environment.
Anjana Mistry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bangor University in the period from 1989 to 1992. Anjana then pursued further education at ACCA, becoming a Fellow in Accounting from 1994 to 1997. Anjana also attended Darlaston Comprehensive, but specific dates and degree information are unavailable. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Thinking Tune-Up" from Kinetic Thinking in December 2021 and "VFQ Foundations" from Emergn in 2021.
