David Wilson

David Wilson is a Principal Scientist at Emerson Automation Solutions since November 2021, specializing in advanced scientific methodologies. Previously, David served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Strathclyde from September 2013 to November 2021, contributing to projects in phosphor thermometry, laser diagnostics in combustion processes, and micro-fluidic systems. Earlier experience includes a role as an Instrumentation Scientist at Cascade Technologies, where involvement in testing bespoke systems and developing new products was notable. David holds a PhD in High Resolution Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy and a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics and Physics, both from the University of Strathclyde.
