Thurston Cromwell

Thurston Cromwell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate development and innovation. Currently serving as Vice President of Development and Innovation at Emerson since November 2015, Thurston leads Emerson Ventures, the company's corporate venture capital arm. Previous roles include Vice President of Corporate Development, where Thurston was a leader in M&A transactions, and Director of Development at Cartesian from September 2006 to November 2015, where Thurston was involved in professional services and software solutions for communications and media industries. Additionally, Thurston served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law from October 2010 to December 2013, and worked as an Attorney at King Hershey, PC from 2001 to 2006. Thurston holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
