Walter Wong

Walter Wong currently serves as the Global Head of Category Management at Emma – The Sleep Company, overseeing a diverse range of products, including mattresses, beds, pillows, and linens since August 2021. Previously, Walter held the position of Global Mattress Category Head, focused on expanding mattress sales across five continents, and served as the Country Manager for the Philippines, where strategies were developed to boost mattress sales. Before joining Emma, Walter was the Head of Marketing and Communications at Angkas from October 2016 to March 2021, promoting motorcycle taxi services in the Philippines. Additional experience includes a role in Business Development at YesCredit.com and as an Associate Product Manager at Awesomelab Inc., alongside a position in Recruitment and Admissions at Teach for the Philippines. Walter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University between 2008 and 2012, having previously attended Xavier School from 1995 to 2008.
