Alexander Isakov

Executive Director, Health Security at Emory University

Alexander Isakov is a prominent medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and health security. Since October 2000, Alexander has served as the Chief of the Section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine and as a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Additionally, from May 2007 onward, Alexander has held the positions of Executive Director for both Health Security and CEPAR at Emory University. Alexander's military service includes a role as a mobilized reserve officer at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2003. Academically, Alexander holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in International Health from Boston University School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the University of Scranton, among other educational credentials from esteemed institutions.
