Alyssa O'Keefe

Alyssa O'Keefe, MS, NBC-HWC, currently serves as the Associate Director of Recreation and Wellness at Emory University since April 2019. Previously, Alyssa held the position of Assistant Director of Facilities and Events at the University of West Georgia from June 2015 to April 2019, where responsibilities included recruiting and training team members and overseeing the operation of a 131,000 square foot facility. Prior experience includes working as a Business Operations Graduate Assistant at Belmont University and as a Special Events Coordinator for the University of Florida Alumni Association. Alyssa's career has been enriched by internships in event services and management at notable venues, including Bridgestone Arena and Gainesville Sports Commission. Alyssa is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of West Georgia, building on a Master's in Sport Administration from Belmont University and a Bachelor's in Recreation and Event Management from the University of Florida.
