Bethany Baker

Bethany Baker, MPA, SPHR, is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various HR roles. Currently serving as the Divisional Director of Human Resources at Emory University since October 2017, Bethany leads a team focused on implementing effective HR policies and fostering a culture of trust, diversity, equity, and innovation. Previous roles include Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager, where strategic recruiting and onboarding processes were prioritized. Prior to Emory University, Bethany worked as an HR Specialist at LSGF Management, a Human Resources Assistant at Dentons, and a Talent Management Specialist at the LSU Foundation, accumulating significant expertise in recruitment, training, and employee engagement. Bethany holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Southern University and A&M College.
