Paul Harkins

Paul Harkins currently serves as the Managing Director of Development for Emory Libraries and Museums at Emory University since October 2023. Previously, Paul held the position of Chief Advancement Officer at The Atlanta Opera from September 2019 to July 2023 and served as the Chief Development and External Relations Officer at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance from January 2017 to May 2019. Paul's career at the University of Michigan began in November 2005, where Paul worked as the Director of Major Gifts until January 2017. Prior roles include Associate Director of Major Gifts at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business from February 2002 to October 2005 and Associate Vice President for Development at Olivet College from May 1998 to January 2002. Paul Harkins earned a Master of Music in Percussion Performance in 1995 and a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance in 1987, both from the University of Michigan.
