Mailyn Sheikh has a diverse work experience. Mailyn started their career at The White Company as an Assistant Merchandiser in 2003. Mailyn then worked at Barclays as a Corporate Receptionist for a brief period before moving on to Cititec, where they held various roles such as Sales Support Administrator, Contracts Coordinator, Contracts Manager, and Operations Manager from 2003 to 2014. After that, Mailyn worked at La Fosse Associates as an Operations Manager in 2014. Currently, they are employed at Empiric as the Care and Compliance Manager since 2016 and has recently been promoted to the position of Director of Contracts and Compliance in January 2023.
Mailyn Sheikh attended Grays Convent High School from 1992 to 1997. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Palmer's Sixth Form College from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued A-Levels in Business Studies, Spanish, and French. Following their time at Palmer's Sixth Form College, Mailyn Sheikh attended the University of Kent from 1999 to 2003. Mailyn obtained a BA Honours degree in European Studies and Spanish. In 2001 to 2002, Mailyn Sheikh studied at La Universidad de Salamanca in the Faculty of History and Geography. Additionally, in 2006 to 2007, they completed the CIPD Professional Development Scheme at BPP University, specializing in CIPD.
