Currently serving as Director of Incubation and Innovation for North America at Empowered Startups since April 2017, Matthew leads the Canadian incubation team and supports early-stage tech entrepreneurs in launching products through lean methodologies. Prior roles include National Account Manager at Recycling Alternative, where Matthew implemented waste minimization strategies that enhanced client satisfaction and company revenue, and Business Planning Analyst at WorkSafeBC, where Matthew developed a new program strategy based on comprehensive feedback analysis. An MBA graduate from The University of British Columbia, Matthew's early career involved significant contributions to microfinance initiatives in Central America, underscoring a strong commitment to impactful business development.
