Donald E. Ingber

Donald Ingber, M.D., Ph.D., serves as the Founding Director of the Wyss Institute at Harvard University since January 2009 and holds multiple co-founder roles in innovative biotech companies, including Breaking, StataDX, Unravel Biosciences, BOA Biomedical, Cerulean Scientific, and Emulate, Inc. Ingber is a distinguished academic, serving as the Hansjörg Wyss Professor of Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and as the Judah Folkman Professor of Vascular Biology at Harvard Medical School, alongside a senior research scientist position at Boston Children's Hospital. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology from Yale University and a Doctor of Medicine from Yale School of Medicine, complemented by extensive postdoctoral training in Cell Biology and Pathology.
