Mr. Rowland derives his wealth of knowledge from more than thirty years of experience providing senior financial leadership to organizations ranging from start-ups to large multinational corporations across diverse industries. Most recently, Mr. Rowland was Chief Financial Officer at Brane Inc., a blockchain innovation company, where he was instrumental in establishing the company’s corporate strategy to provide independent custody of crypto assets. Prior to that, Mr. Rowland led financial and operational transformation activities and multiple acquisition and divestiture transactions totaling over $2.4 billion for publicly traded companies within the precious metals sector. He has also provided financial guidance to such sector-leading companies as Sanofi and Accenture, among others. In addition, as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Rowland was responsible for growing a publicly-listed energy company from a market capitalization of $1 million to a target of $1 billion. Mr. Rowland started his career with Ernst & Young, where he held several progressive positions over the course of nine years. Mr. Rowland is a certified Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada), as well as both a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant in the United States.
