Jim Chen, P.Eng, currently serves as a Storage Planning Engineer at Enbridge Gas since October 2019, where responsibilities include modeling the Dawn Hub with Synergi Gas, simulating seasonal operations, analyzing system bottlenecks, and proposing solutions for system outages. Previously, Chen worked as a Project Management Engineer at Kingston Midstream from January 2015 to October 2019, managing pipeline projects through all phases from inception to commissioning. Chen began a career in engineering as an intern with Enbridge Pipelines Saskatchewan Inc., where support was provided to senior engineers, and small to medium-sized projects were managed. Earlier experience includes a role as a Plant Operator Summer Student at Ambertec, focusing on the operation and maintenance of an asphalt storage and blending facility. Jim Chen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a Petroleum Option from the University of Saskatchewan, completed in 2014.
