Francis Herd

Francis Herd is an experienced news professional currently serving as a News Anchor at eNCA since January 2024. Prior to this role, Francis held positions as a News Anchor and Business Anchor at SABC from October 2013 to December 2023, and at eNCA from April 2008 to August 2013. Early in the career, Francis worked as a News Anchor at ETV from April 2007 to April 2008 and as a Communications Manager at Virgin Mobile SA in 2006. The career began as a News Reporter at Primedia Broadcasting from February 2003 to February 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from GIBS Business School obtained in 2014, an Honours degree in Politics from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2004, and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Politics and English from the same institution completed in 2002.
