Janet Ohlert is a Process Design Engineer at Encapsys since October 2020. Prior to this role, Janet served as Stock Prep Area Owner at Domtar from July 2014 to October 2020, where responsibilities included leading continuous improvement projects and ensuring high-quality raw materials for paper machines. Janet also held positions as a Process Engineer at Domtar, where process optimization and cost reduction initiatives were supported, and as an Undergraduate Research Associate at the University of Minnesota, assisting with research in biosynthetic pathways. Additionally, Janet completed an Engineering Co-Op at Rock-Tenn Company, focusing on monitoring process conditions and optimizing recycled material use. Janet's early experience includes a supervisory role at Delaware North Companies during baseball games at Target Field. Janet earned a Bachelor of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2014.
