Ian McCance

Ian McCance has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ian is currently working at Encepta as Manager, Operations, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Project Lead at Encepta from March 2020 to December 2021. Ian'searlier experience includes working as a Geographic Information System Specialist at Encepta from September 2016 to March 2020.

Before joining Encepta, Ian worked as a GIS Intern at CBRE from January 2016 to May 2016. Ian also has experience as a Document Specialist at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, where they took a lead role in updating and restructuring training materials for Salesforce.com and Oracle E-Business Suite from an unspecified start date to 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Business Process Specialist at Ledcor in 2012, an Information Developer at SAP from 2010 to 2011, and a Technical Writer at ACL from 2009 to 2010.

Ian McCance completed their education by obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from BCIT in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at Simon Fraser University from 2003-2008, majoring in Communication and minoring in Publishing. Additionally, Ian McCance obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2023.
