Steve Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steve currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Encore Fire Protection since June 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at BVI Medical, including Head of Corporate Finance and Treasurer from January 2020 to May 2022, and Head of Global Commercial Finance and Treasurer from September 2017 to December 2019. From February 2017 to August 2017, Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer (Interim) at Fidelis Cybersecurity, and before that, they were the Vice President, Corporate Controller from May 2016 to February 2017. Steve also worked as the Corporate Controller at SeaChange International from December 2014 to May 2016 and as the Vice President of Finance at World Energy Solutions, Inc. (now part of EnerNOC) in 2014. Earlier in their career, Steve held various finance and accounting roles at Hologic, Alere, Inc., Stride Rite, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Arthur Andersen & Co.
Steve Walsh has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Steve attended Boston College High School for their secondary education. Additionally, Steve holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which they obtained in 2002.
