Charlie Young has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Encore since June 2016, overseeing all People Strategies for the leading Global Events Services Company. Prior to Encore, Charlie held the same title at hhgregg, a $2 billion specialty retailer, from January 2008 to June 2016, where responsibilities included enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency. Earlier in their career, Charlie was the VP of HR Retail Operations and Supply Chain at Sears from June 1986 to November 2007. Charlie Young holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting from Gettysburg College.
