John Steiner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John began their career in the US Army as a Ranger and Ammunition Specialist. After leaving the army, they joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital as a Lead Systems Analyst, where they provided support for various network systems and played a key role in designing and installing network infrastructure for a new building. Subsequently, they worked at Convergys as a Data Network Consultant, responsible for designing and implementing global IP and MPLS networks. Later, they joined Presidio as a Network Architect and Practice Manager, where they developed technical strategies and built strong customer relationships. Currently, they work at Encore Technologies as the SVP, Services, leading a large team and overseeing service operations, engineering, and profitability goals.
John Steiner's education history begins with their high school education at Batavia High School, which they attended from 1989 to 1992. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas Grantham, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
In 2016, John Steiner enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology to further their education in the field of Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning. John successfully completed their Master of Science (MS) degree from Georgia Tech in 2019.
In addition to their formal education, John Steiner has also obtained a certification called "Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching" from Cisco in January 2011. This certification further demonstrates their expertise in this domain.
