Astrid Brown has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Astrid began their career as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton UK LLP and progressed to become an Audit Executive. In 2013, they joined Grant Thornton International Ltd as an Executive in Strategic Development & Growth. Astrid then returned to Grant Thornton UK LLP as an Audit Assistant Manager and later promoted to Audit Executive. Astrid joined Art & Global Health Center Africa as a Volunteer in 2018. Astrid then moved to Dentsu Aegis Network where they held roles such as Group Accountant, Group M&A Accounting Manager, and M&A Manager. Following that, they worked at Black Sheep Coffee as a Commercial Finance and FP&A Manager. Their most recent role was at MADE.COM as a Senior FP&A Manager. Currently, Astrid holds the position of Head of FP&A at the company END.
Astrid Brown attended James Gillespie's High School from 2000 to 2006, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Astrid then enrolled in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2006 to 2009, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Geography. Following this, they studied at ICAEW from 2009 to 2011, obtaining the ACA qualification as a Chartered Accountant. Lastly, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the Chartered Institute of Taxation, where they obtained the CTA qualification and became a Chartered Tax Adviser.
