Jan Van Der Kuyl

Jan van der Kuyl is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Payload Co-Lead at Endeavour since September 2023, where leadership responsibilities encompass the electrical and software aspects of a non-deployable CubeSat project. Previously, Jan worked as a Payload Engineer at Endeavour Rockets and had a role as Electronics Engineer at HYPED until January 2024. Jan also gained hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer with the rocketry team 'ThisWayUp' while at the High School of Dundee. Jan participated in the Scottish Space School program at the University of Strathclyde, which provided insights into space industry engineering. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Physics at The University of Edinburgh, Jan has a strong educational foundation with Advanced Highers in Computer Science, Physics, and Maths from high school.
