Danilo Spaziani

Danilo Spaziani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and energy sectors, currently serving as the Manager and Head of Quality Unit for Global Infrastructure and Networks at Enel since June 2021. Prior to this role, Danilo held the position of Head of Quality Unit at Enel X from June 2017 to May 2021 and was involved in various leadership roles at Enel from September 2006 to May 2017, including Head of Health & Safety Group Initiatives and Benchmarking Unit and Head of Nuclear Project Control. With a background encompassing work management and outage management at Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant, as well as roles focusing on continuous improvement and nuclear safety culture, Danilo has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting best practices and global improvement plans. Danilo's earlier experience includes consulting for major corporations such as FIAT Group and Ferrari, along with conducting research at the Paul Scherrer Institut, where thermal-hydraulic analyses were performed on nuclear power systems. Danilo holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from La Sapienza, completed in 2002.
