Mauricio Terashima

Mauricio Terashima, CCEP-I, currently serves as the Head of Audit Staff & Compliance at Enel Group in Brazil since November 2020, overseeing staff audits and the compliance sector. Prior to this role, Mauricio held the position of Global Internal Audit Manager at Embraer from January 2015 to September 2020, managing the Continuous Audit department and leading corporate fraud investigations, while serving as the focal point for internal audits with an external monitor appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, Mauricio worked as an Internal Auditor and an Operation Technician/Electrical System Analyst at AES Eletropaulo from July 2001 to December 2014. Academic credentials include a specialization in Accounting, Controllership, and Finance from FACULDADE FIPECAFI, a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, and a technical degree in Electrotechnics from Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo.
