Simona Florio

Simona Florio is an experienced legal professional specializing in corporate finance and regulatory compliance within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Finance, Project Finance, and Structured Finance Legal Affairs at Enel Group since July 2018, Simona also oversees legal affairs for business development and M&A within Enel Green Power and thermal generation. Prior to this, roles included providing legal assistance in financial transactions for Enel Green Power S.p.A. and serving as Legal Counsel for Enel Green Power North America Inc. A legal career began with internships and trainee positions in various organizations, complemented by a strong educational background in law, including degrees from Università degli studi Roma TRE and participation in international programs such as the Socrates-Erasmus program in French law.
