Jonathan Ritchie

Jonathan Ritchie currently serves as the Head of Intraday Trading at Energetech, a position held since January 2025, where there is a focus on building a leading proprietary trading team in Dubai to engage in discretionary and systematic trading of short-term power markets across the UK and Europe. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of Head of Prompt Trading at SSE plc from January 2022 to January 2025, and at Centrica Energy Trading, held various roles including Head of Power Business Development and Head of Intraday Asset Trading from October 2016 to January 2022. Jonathan's career also includes experience as Senior Trader at InterGen and Lead Portfolio Trader at Centrica, where expertise in intraday power optimization was developed. Initial experience began as a Commercial Operator at InterGen from May 2008 to February 2013.
