Ewan Pritchard, PhD, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in sustainable transportation and energy solutions. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Energetics, Ewan leads the Data Analytics team within the Sustainable Transportation and Resiliency Division. As an Engineering Consultant at Pritchard Engineering, Ewan collaborates with clients to implement reliable energy strategies utilizing low-impact renewables and energy storage. Ewan's prior roles at North Carolina State University include Senior Lecturer, Associate Director of the FREEDM Systems Center, and Director of Industry and Innovation for the NSF FREEDM Systems Center, where efforts focused on enhancing research funding and developing smart grid technologies. With a solid educational background in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, Ewan's career spans over two decades, including significant contributions to Advanced Energy Corp. and GKN Automotive.
