Declan Fives is an experienced project engineering manager specializing in offshore wind energy, currently employed at Energia Group since January 2021. Prior to this role, Declan Fives worked at Ørsted from November 2014 to January 2021, where responsibilities included managing site investigation packages for major offshore wind farms such as Greater Changhua and Walney Extension. Earlier experience includes serving as a geo-environmental consultant at Royal HaskoningDHV and as a site civil engineer at BAM Ireland. Declan Fives holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.
