Thomas Egebo

Thomas Egebo has extensive experience in leadership roles within the energy and climate sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of Energinet since May 2018. Prior to this, Thomas Egebo held various senior positions in multiple ministries, including Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy, Climate and Building from November 2011 to April 2018, and similar roles at the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Gender Equality, the Ministry of Climate and Energy, and the Ministry of Transport and Energy. Thomas Egebo began a career in the public sector at the Ministry of Finance, where Thomas served as Assistant Permanent Secretary from 1996 to 2001. Thomas Egebo earned a Cand Polit degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, studying from 1981 to 1988.
