Savannah Tranchell

Savannah Tranchell is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in internal communications and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Communication Specialist and Editor at Energy Northwest since September 2020, Savannah manages a range of internal communication initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Writer and Magazine Editor at Whitman College, where Savannah oversaw feature stories and collaborated with Development and Alumni Relations, and Director of Content, leading a team focused on enrollment marketing. Prior experience includes positions at the University of Idaho, Yakima Herald-Republic, Yakima Valley Community College, Lee Enterprises, and Coeur d'Alene Press. Savannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Idaho and multiple advanced degrees in communication and strategic communications from South Dakota State University and Washington State University.
