Jasper Süß has worked as a Robot Software Engineer at Energy Robotics since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Research assistant at Technische Universität Darmstadt from April 2021 to November 2021, where they developed modules for improved visualization of point clouds during robot inspections at construction sites. Jasper also worked as a Studentische Hilfskraft at Technische Universität Darmstadt from November 2017 to October 2019, where they served as a tutor for various university courses, teaching in front of small classes, discussing concepts with students, and providing feedback on homework and exams.
Jasper Süß completed their education at Technische Universität Darmstadt. From 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatik. Following their bachelor's degree, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Autonomous Systems from 2019 to 2022.
Energy Robotics
Energy Robotics has launched one of the first commercially available software platforms for industrial applications that combines three essential components of intelligent control of mobile autonomous robots: a hardware-independent robot operating system, cloud-based fleet management, and AI-powered data analysis. The robots are used for remoteinspection and monitoring, especially in industries with harsh and demanding environments such as the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, but also increasingly in the energy and security industries. The company relies on a SaaS model to do this, offering its software solution and associated IT infrastructure along with hardware from various third-party vendors.
