Brandy A. Hyatt

Brandy A. Hyatt is an accomplished professional in the field of environmental policy with a strong focus on equity and social justice, currently serving as Program Manager II at Energy Solutions, where responsibilities include designing and implementing equity-focused Distributed Energy Resources programs. Previously, Brandy held the position of Policy Researcher at Brightline Defense, conducting research on offshore wind and transmission policy while providing technical assistance to affordable housing partners for decarbonization efforts. Brandy's extensive experience at Vote Solar includes roles as Education Manager and Program Manager, where Brandy developed educational resources, facilitated workshops, and led initiatives to enhance community engagement and equitable solar policies. Brandy also has a background in evaluation at institutions such as the Oakland Museum of California and the Exploratorium, as well as operational roles at Square and Redwood Day School. Brandy holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Mills College and a Bachelor's degree in Film Production from Augsburg University.
