Chris Philbrick, P.E. CEM, serves as a Senior Project Engineer at Energy Systems Group (ESG) since January 2022, specializing in energy performance contracting. Prior to ESG, Chris held the position of Energy Management Team Lead at APTIM from August 2014 to January 2022, where responsibilities included strategic energy services, retro-commissioning, and utility program development. Chris also contributed as Adjunct Faculty at City Colleges of Chicago from August 2007 to May 2017, teaching courses in sustainability and energy efficiency. Chris's earlier roles include Director of Chicago Operations at SEBESTA and Director of Commissioning Services at Sieben Energy Associates, focusing on energy efficiency solutions. Chris began a career at ComEd as a Senior Energy Engineer from 1997 to 2008, assisting clients with various energy-related projects. Chris holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
