Philipp Michalsky has over 15 years of work experience in various roles in the IT industry. Philipp began their career at unterwegs@internet GmbH as a Web Developer from August 2003 to April 2005. Philipp then worked as a Software Developer, managing the concept, design, and development of web-based applications, as well as customer-specific data conversion tools, during their self-employment from May 2004 to December 2005. From March 2006 to March 2015, they served as a Senior Manager at Accenture. In April 2015, Michalsky joined Jacob Holm & Sons AG as the Global Director Business Systems until June 2016. Since July 2016, they have been with EnerSys, starting as the Director of IT for EMEA and currently working as the Senior Vice President & CIO.
Philipp Michalsky completed their education in chronological order. Philipp first attended HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology. In 2006, they enrolled at SAP and earned certification as a Certified Solution Consultant in SAP SCM/SRM. Finally, in 2011, they attended the Project Management Institute (PMI) and achieved the PMP – Project Management Professional certification with a specialization in Project Management.

Its segments based on geographic regions consist of Americas, which consists of North and South America; EMEA, which includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia, which includes Asia, Australia and Oceania. The Company's product lines include reserve power and motive power products. Its Reserve power products also include thermally managed cabinets and enclosures for electronic equipment and batteries. The Company's motive power products are used to provide power for electric industrial forklifts used in manufacturing, warehousing and other material handling applications. They are used as mining equipment, diesel locomotive starting and other rail equipment.
