Richard Amato is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Executive General Manager at Enerven since January 2018, Richard also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at SA Power Networks. Richard's extensive background includes roles such as Head of Corporate Portfolio Management Office, Program Director for Business Transformation, and Head of Finance and National Operations within the same organization. Additionally, Richard is the Chair of the Australian Olympic Team Appeal - SA and a board member at both Hutt St Centre and North Eastern Community Hospital. Richard has also contributed as a trustee for the SA Power Networks Employee Foundation. Richard's prior experience includes senior financial roles at Treasury Wine Estates, Smorgon Steel, CommSecure, and John Holland. Academically, Richard holds an M.B.A. from the University of South Australia and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, among other qualifications.
