Ricardo Diaz

Ricardo Diaz is an accomplished leader in the renewable energy and investment sectors, currently serving as CEO Americas and Global Head of Capital at Enfinity Global since May 2022. In this role, Ricardo oversees the strategic direction and operational execution for business expansion across the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets, managing a project portfolio exceeding twenty gigawatts. Previously, as Managing Director and Head of Americas at Cubico Sustainable Investments from January 2015 to April 2022, Ricardo was instrumental in raising over $7 billion in capital, including $2 billion specifically from OTPP and PSP. Prior experience includes a role as Managing Director and Principal Investment Head of Europe at Banco Santander, where Ricardo managed over $1.5 billion in investments across multiple renewable energy sectors in several European countries, and earlier as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree from Harvard Business School and an MBA from London Business School, along with a BA in Economics from Universidade de Vigo.
