Murat Knecht's work experience begins in 2010 with a role as a Software Engineer at tolinA, where they worked on building a workflow control application for banks using Java. Murat stayed with the company until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Murat worked at Acme Packet as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in developing infrastructure and testing tools for VoIP monitoring and fraud detection software. In 2013, they joined Oracle as a Software Developer until 2014. Murat then joined engageSPARK in 2014 as a Senior Developer, contributing to the development of a communication platform to fight poverty. Murat later became the CTO of engageSPARK in 2015, overseeing platform scaling and stability.
