Francoise Sotiau has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Francoise started their career as an Auditor at PwC in 1999. Francoise then worked at Université libre de Bruxelles as a Teaching Assistant of Micro-economy and Finance exercises from 2004 to 2007. In 2000, they joined ELECTRABEL - GDF SUEZ GROUP, where they held roles such as Economic Studies and Valuations Analyst, Risk Process Analyst, Metier Generation Controller, and Asset Data and Information Manager. In 2009, they joined ENGIE as Vice-President of Data Collection & Reporting, then as Senior Asset Contract Manager, and eventually as Head of Portfolio Optimization within the BU Generation. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at ENGIE Electrabel as a Project Leader for Distributed Generation B2B. During the same period, they also served as the Director of ENGIE Sun4Business. In 2020, they became the IFM Department Manager at ENGIE Solutions Belgium. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer & Director of Strategy, Innovation, Procurement at Laborelec, starting in January 2023.
Francoise Sotiau attended Université libre de Bruxelles from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Ingénieur de gestion with a field of study in Économie de gestion.
