Pieter-Jan Caubergs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Pieter-Jan started their career at Vinçotte as an NDT Inspector in 2006 and progressed to roles such as Planning NDT, NDT Site Coordinator at NPP Doel, Contract Manager, and Activity Manager for Industrial Services in Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. In 2019, they joined TUC RAIL as a Quality Engineer and later worked as a Subcontractor at ENGENIUS BVBA. In the same year, they also founded their consultancy, Tripod gcv, where they provided technical expertise, project management, and quality management services to clients. Currently, they are working at Laborelec as the Delivery Lead for NDT, responsible for portfolio management and close collaboration with experts, clients, and authorities. Pieter-Jan also has experience in NDT product development and previously held the position of Technology Manager for NDT at Laborelec.
Pieter-Jan Caubergs has a diverse education history. Pieter-Jan attended Vlerick Business School in 2022 to study New Business Development and also participated in a training course called "Take the Lead - training course" in Sustainability Management, which was jointly offered by Vlerick Business School and De Tijd. In 2021, Pieter-Jan studied Strategy Implementation at Vlerick Business School. Pieter-Jan completed an Executive Development Program at Vlerick Business School from 2020 to 2021, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, Pieter-Jan obtained a Graduaat degree in Business Administration/Management from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in the period 2013-2016. Pieter-Jan also studied Teacher Education and Professional Development at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool in 2005-2006, History at KU Leuven in 2004-2005, and Industrial Engineering at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in 2003-2004. Pieter-Jan's earlier education includes Industriële Wetenschappen (Industrial Sciences) at VTI Zandhoven from 1996 to 2002.
Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications such as the Strategy Implementation Program from Vlerick Business School and ISO9712 from Bant. Pieter-Jan also completed a Graduaat Bedrijfsmanagement from CVO HIK, though the specific year of completion is unknown.
