Laborelec
Thierry Beguin has extensive work experience in the energy sector, specifically in nuclear power plants. Thierry started their career as an I&C Engineer at TRACTEBEL in October 2004 and worked in this role until May 2008. Thierry then moved on to become a Project Manager in Energy Assets Consulting from June 2008 to March 2014. In April 2014, they became the Project Manager for Belgian Nuclear Power Plants at TRACTEBEL, a role they held until May 2019. During their time at TRACTEBEL, they also served as the Deputy Product Manager & Team Leader for Tihange Nuclear Power Plant Projects from July 2016 to December 2017. In January 2019, Thierry joined Laborelec as the Project Manager for Nuclear Power Plants, a position they held until December 2023. Thierry then took on the role of Delivery Lead at Laborelec starting from January 2023.
Thierry Beguin has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, obtained from 1997-2004. Additionally, they also hold a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in the same field from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, attained in the period of 2002-2003. Prior to their university education, Thierry studied at Collège Saint-Michel (Bruxelles) from 1991-1997, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
