Alessandra Barboni

Alessandra Barboni is currently the Head of Engineering for Renewable Gases Europe at ENGIE, leading a team of over 40 engineers to support bio-methane projects across Europe. Previously, Alessandra served as the Head of Engineering Renewables, coordinating a team of 30 engineers on global solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems projects. Experience includes roles as Interface Manager for TotalEnergies' Pyrolysis Project and Engineering Manager at TotalEnergies Corbion, where Alessandra coordinated the engineering activities for a landmark PLA manufacturing plant. Other positions held include Facilities Manager at INEOS Oil & Gas Denmark, Asset Technical Manager at Ørsted, and various roles at DONG Energy and Total. Alessandra holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and has completed multiple certifications in leadership and coaching from prestigious institutions, including HEC Paris and Stanford University.
