David Lockyer

David Lockyer is a highly experienced engineer specializing in embedded systems and robotic technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Robotic Systems Engineer at Engineered Arts Ltd since October 2024, David previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Indra Renewable Technologies Ltd. from January 2021 to October 2024, and worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Chronos Technology Ltd. from November 2016 to November 2020. With a strong background in developing firmware, implementing Yocto Embedded Linux OS images, and designing hardware for safety-critical applications, David has made significant contributions throughout a career starting at Arrowvale Electronics in August 1994 as an Electronics Engineer. David holds an ILM Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, along with multiple certifications in electronic and electrical engineering.
